Cruise the Hawkesbury

Step aboard for a relaxing day of heritage rail travel and river cruising.

Join The Rail Motor Society and the Singleton Rotary Club for an unforgettable day combining the charm of Australia’s classic railways with the spectacular scenery of the Hawkesbury River.

Your adventure begins aboard our beautifully restored 621/721 Heritage Rail Motor, where you’ll travel in comfort through the rolling countryside of the Hunter Valley towards one of New South Wales’ most scenic waterways.

As the train winds its way south, sit back, relax and enjoy the journey while our friendly volunteers serve morning tea on board.

On arrival at the historic Hawkesbury River Railway Station, you’ll transfer to your cruise vessel for a leisurely three-hour cruise through the breathtaking Hawkesbury River.

Towering sandstone cliffs, secluded bays and pristine bushland provide the backdrop as you enjoy a delicious lunch while cruising one of Australia’s most picturesque rivers.

After your cruise, simply re-board the heritage rail motor for the relaxing journey back to Paterson, completing a day filled with heritage, history and spectacular scenery.

Whether you’re looking for a unique day out, celebrating with friends, or simply wanting to experience one of New South Wales’ hidden gems, this tour offers something for everyone.
